Collection: Birch Collection

I was born in the Northwest Territories, Yellowknife. My earliest memories are of birch, pine and spruce trees. My mother always took us to the cabin north of Yellowknife. I remember never straying far from my mother in fear of being lost in the dark, quiet woods. Now I miss the quiet, the creaks and the never-ending forest. 

My birch tree collection is inspired by my time in the north. The color teal means calmness, uniqueness. Birch to me is the north, winter, shadows, memory’s, whispers, snowshoes and the wild.
The Birch Tree Collection is ongoing with new pieces added throughout the year.
